Greetings, The Tufts European Center in Talloires, France offers a unique pre-college summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors, focused on French language and International Relations. I am writing to share more information about the program so that you can share with your interested students, colleagues, family and friends. Tufts Summit 2025: Pre-College Program in the French Alps The Tufts Summit Program is a 4-week summer program that immerses students in International Relations and French Language & Culture. Established in 1993, the program takes place at the historic Tufts European Center in Talloires, a picturesque village located on the shores of Lake Annecy, in the foothills of the French Alps. Each year, we select 20 enthusiastic students from across the globe to participate. Summit students take two courses: International Relations in a Changing World: An introduction to global politics and diplomacy French Language and Culture: An immersive course designed to enhance French language skills The learning experience is enriched with excursions to places like Geneva, Switzerland, and students stay with local host families to fully immerse themselves in French culture. It’s an unforgettable summer, combining academic enrichment with personal growth in an extraordinary setting. We are hosting an information session specifically for educators on . We would love for you to attend and learn more about how the Tufts Summit Program could be a great fit for your students.
